Liberty Mountain specializes in teaching beginners everything you need to know to be successful from your first moments on snow. Our skilled instructors have introduced thousands to the joys of skiing and snowboarding - and we can do the same for you and your family!

Our Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package, coupled with our Mountain Passport, has been recognized by the industry as one of the most successful programs for introducing newcomers to the sports. Help a friend learn for free!

Paid Advantage Card and Paid Season Pass holders can bring a friend for a Special FREE VIP Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package! Available daily Tuesday through Friday the entire Month of January!

  • Daily Package availability is limited - pre-registration is required by calling the Ski & Board School Desk at 717-642-8282 x3317. Please call between 9am and 5pm.
  • Pass or Card holder must accompany First Time Friend to the Ski & Board School Desk.
  • Friend will receive a LTS ticket and be assigned an instructor.
  • Instructor will accompany First Timers to rental shop, then out to snow for lesson.
  • Mountain Passport would be available for qualifying friends. (True first timers who complete the lesson. You may only enjoy the amazing benefits of this program once in your lifetime...if you have had the privilege of owning a Mountain Passport, or being a passholder of any kind, in a previous season, you are not eligible for a Mountain Passport. This applies even if you are changing from skiing to snowboarding or visa versa. Sorry, some things are just too good to do more than once!!).
  • You can also qualify for great prizes in the National Bring A Friend Challenge!

$49 Thursdays!

Learn To Ski or Snowboard Packages for everyone ages 8 and up are only $49 Thursdays (excluding 1/1/2015) in the month of January! Mom & Dad…we'll even toss in half price PlayCare* with purchase of a 'Learn To' Package!

  • $49 Learn To Ski & Board packages are valid for an all day beginner area lift ticket. No reservation needed!
  • Packages include a beginner area lift ticket, rental equipment, helmet and a 'First Time' lesson.
  • *PlayCare is only available until 5pm. Reservations are required for PlayCare - please call 717-642-8282 x3400.
  • Upon completion of your First Time lesson, you will be eligible for the Mountain Passport. (True first timers over the age of 8 who complete the lesson. You may only enjoy the amazing benefits of this program once in your lifetime...if you have had the privilege of owning a Mountain Passport, or being a passholder of any kind, in a previous season, you are not eligible for a Mountain Passport. Make it a getaway! $99 per person

Learn to Ski/Snowboard & Stay Packages are available Wednesday & Thursday nights in January (except 1/1/2015, (taxes not included)

  • One night lodging in the Liberty Hotel (minimum double occupancy)
  • Hot Breakfast voucher for each guest.
  • Your Thursday Learn to Ski or Board Package as outlined above (for 2 people ages 8 and up).
  • Ski and Stay Package rates are per person/ per night. Minimum double occupancy required. Package must be paid in full and in advance. Additional people ages 12 and over will be $10 per night, kids under the age of 12 are free in the room. If they are not participating in the $49 Learn To Program their lift and rental tickets would be available at the standard hotel 10% discount off retail rates.
